Join a Regional Advisory Council
As an ambassador for Alternatives you’ll connect with other “movers and shakers” in your community to help the people we serve attain true community membership.
The purpose of Alternatives’ Regional Advisory Councils is to build greater support and awareness about Alternatives services. They are comprised of volunteers from the community who dedicate their time and talents to create opportunities for the people we serve. Together, they work to connect individuals to employment and volunteer opportunities, initiate projects and events that give back to the community, and host activities such as Mental Health First Aid trainings and Community Conversations about stigma. By acting as ambassadors for Alternatives, they are helping Alternatives grow and the people we serve to attain true community membership.
