Alternative’s 9th Annual Bookmark Design Contest

In Recognition of Mental Health Awareness Month

Each year, Alternatives invites students from schools across our service area to participate in a bookmark design contest in recognition of May as Mental Health Awareness Month. The students must incorporate one of three phrases – “Mind Your Mind,” “Peace of Mind,” or “Tend Your Mind” – into their designs. Two winners are chosen from each school. They each receive prizes and then the bookmarks, which are printed with tips for maintaining a healthy mind on the back, are distributed to the school and to the local library.
