After a brain hemorrhage and stroke that nearly killed him, Jon Sarkin awoke with a compulsive need to create elaborate drawings and paintings. Sarkin’s work has been featured in The New Yorker, The New York Times, ABC Primetime, This American Life, GQ, ArtNews, The American Visionary Art Museum, The Metropolitan Museum of Art, and the deCordova Sculpture Park and Museum.
