Coming up Saturday, June 3!
The Valley Friendship Tour is Alternatives’ signature fundraiser. For years, funds raised by the Tour have gone a long way in improving the lives of the people we serve. They allow us purchase the furnishings and special equipment that enable individuals with disabilities to live in the community as independently as possible; find and train dedicated volunteers; and implement critical health and wellness initiatives.

The 5K is new too! Download the 5K /Golden Mile Route map here!
This year, help us put the “Friend” in Valley Friendship Tour!
Friendship Pieces, handmade by a local artisan, are a visible way to show your support for inclusive communities. Wear one of these pins yourself and give the other to a friend. It’s a great way to spread the word about the Valley Friendship Tour! Friendship Pieces can be purchased when you register online!
The Tour takes off from Alternatives’ Whitin Mill (50 Douglas Road in Whitinsville, MA) and includes several non-competitive routes through the beautiful and historic Blackstone Valley. From a Golden Mile walk to a 25 mile cycle route, there’s something for people of all ages, abilities and athletic interest to enjoy. With live music, food, massage and kids activities waiting at the finish line, it’s no wonder we call it “A Fun Day for a Great Cause!”
Looking to support the Valley Friendship Tour in fun, new ways before the Tour itself?
