Thank you to all who made June 3 a success and congratulations to this year’s winners!
Beautiful weather won the day at this year’s Valley Friendship Tour! Hundreds were in attendance to show their support for their neighbors with disabilities, and as usual, it was a remarkable day for a great cause. Together, we raised close to $250,000! Until closing time on June 30, our many Tour teams were hard at work fundraising. We’re thrilled to announce that bragging rights for the year go to:
Top Rookie Team
Aging Like Fine Wine
Great Strides Award
Top Program Teams
1st Place – Blackstone Valley Day Habs
2nd Place – Green Monsters
Kevin Hunt, Sole Riders
You can still help us meet our goal! DONATE NOW!
The Valley Friendship Tour is Alternatives’ signature fundraiser, and takes place in the beautiful and historic Blackstone Valley. For years, funds raised by the Tour have gone a long way in improving the lives of the people we serve. They allow us purchase the furnishings and special equipment that enable individuals with disabilities to live in the community as independently as possible; find and train dedicated volunteers; and implement critical health and wellness initiatives.

Have you put the “Friend” in Valley Friendship Tour?
Friendship Pieces, handmade by a local artisan, are a visible way to show your support for inclusive communities. Wear one of these pins yourself and give the other to a friend. It’s a great way to spread the word about the Valley Friendship Tour! Contact [email protected] to get yours before time runs out!
We would like to thank our many, wonderful sponsors who every year play a major role in the success of the Valley Friendship Tour and Alternatives’ ability to provide the people we serve with the support they need to build successful lives.
