ValleyCAST is pleased to announce the winners of the 6th Annual Priscilla B. Mason Arts & Culture Award, an award that recognizes a person, group or organization that has made a significant contribution to the Blackstone Valley’s arts, culture or sciences in the past year.

Anita Walker, Executive Director of the Massachusetts Cultural Council, will be joining us to honor the winners. In a keynote address, Anita will speak about the importance of sustainable, accessible arts in our communities.

The Priscilla B. Mason Arts & Culture Award is named in honor of Priscilla Mason, a direct descendant of Paul Whitin, whose original mill stands as part of Alternatives’ Whitin Mill complex. Ms. Mason was an ardent supporter of Alternatives and ValleyCAST. Awardees share her deep commitment to the preservation of the Valley’s history and cultural heritage.
